Dr. Bundy joined WPHP in 2014 and has served as Executive Medical Director since 2016. Working collaboratively with the Executive Director in the overall fulfillment of WPHP’s mission, Dr. Bundy is responsible for WPHP’s clinical operations, leads the organization’s education and outreach efforts, and represents WPHP to the healthcare community. Prior to WPHP, Dr. Bundy was Mental Health Service Chief and Chief of Psychiatry at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle. He is currently serving as Chief Medical Officer of the Federation of State Physician Health Programs, the national association of physician health programs, where he is an advocate for initiatives to improve physician health and well-being and is also a Past President of the organization. A native Washingtonian, Dr. Bundy, completed medical school, residency, and fellowship at the University of Washington and is Clinical Associate Professor at both the University of Washington School of Medicine and the Washington State University Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine. In 2021, Dr. Bundy was honored with the Washington State Medical Association President’s Unsung Hero Award for extraordinary service to the profession to make Washington state the best place to practice medicine and receive care.

Mr. Cooper was appointed Executive Director by the WPHP Board of Directors in March 2015. He is responsible for WPHP’s administrative and financial policy and operations and, in collaboration with the Executive Medical Director, ensuring the overall fulfillment of WPHP’s Mission. From 1999 to 2014 Mr. Cooper led Homestead Community Land Trust’s efforts to provide permanently affordable homes in King County. During that time he grew the organization to become the largest of its kind in Washington State. He brings over two decades of experience advancing social causes as a founder, executive director, board chair, and a board member of a variety of organizations.
Laura Moss, MD

Dr. Moss joined WPHP in 2016 after working for the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation as the Medical Director and the Director of the Health Care Professionals Program at the Oregon Springbrook site. She was previously the director and psychiatrist for the Women’s Trauma and Recovery Center at the Seattle Veterans Administration Hospital and an Assistant Professor at the University of Washington. Dr. Moss received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Washington State University and her M.D. from the University of Washington. She completed psychiatry residency training at the University of Washington and an Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at the Seattle VA Hospital. She has board certification in both General and Addiction Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Moss assists the WPHP clinical team in the assessment and health and program status of healthcare providers with psychiatric, substance use, co-occurring and behavioral disorders. She also participates in WPHP community outreach, advocacy and educational activities. In addition to her role at WPHP, Dr. Moss is also the Western Region Director at the Federation of State Physician Health Programs.
Sachi Adamson

Sachi joined WPHP in September 2017. She is the Senior Accountant and is responsible for managing the organization’s day to day accounting operations, and preparing and analyzing financial reports. Sachi received her bachelor’s degree in accounting at Seattle University and later her master’s degree in accounting at the University of Washington – Bothell. She is currently working towards becoming a CPA.

Ms. Strong joined WPHP in 2020. As Clinical Director, Ms. Strong provides training, professional development, and operational oversight of Clinical Coordinators and Facilitators working with WPHP participants. Ms. Strong is also responsible for strengthening partnerships with evaluation and treatment providers and WPHP collaborators while engaging with WPHP leadership to ensure our commitment to accountability, consistency, and excellence. She has a master’s degree in counseling psychology and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Substance Use Disorder Professional who has been working in the behavioral health field for over 10 years. Prior to joining WPHP, Ms. Strong served as Director of Edgewood Health Network Seattle. She applies principles of system redesign, organizational health, and relationship building to promote the shared goals of our staff, participants, and community stakeholders.

Ms. Reilly joined WPHP in October 2022. As the Quality Assurance Director, Ms. Reilly is responsible for the overall operational management and oversight of WPHP’s quality program. Ms. Reilly oversees all members of the Quality Assurance team, with efforts to regularly audit and improve WPHP’s practice to ensure adherence to the overall mission of the organization and its stakeholders. She has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Washington and has been working in the behavioral health field for more than 9 years.

Nadine joined WPHP in July 2016. She is responsible for general office operations, program improvement and maintenance, and overseeing communications and marketing. Nadine is also Executive Assistant to Dr. Chris Bundy and helps oversee education, outreach, and stakeholder relations. She grew up living in various Southeast Asian countries before moving to Seattle. Nadine received her bachelor’s degree at the University of Washington and has held administrative positions in nonprofit organizations.

Vanessa joined WPHP in October 2023 as Communications Manager. She is responsible for strategic communications and outreach efforts for the organization. Vanessa brings more than 15 years of experience in communications, public relations, and marketing in the hospitality industry to her role at WPHP. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism with minors in anthropology and political science from Western Washington University and a master’s degree in applied communications from the University of Denver. Vanessa is also a member of the Publications Committee for the Federation of State Physician Health Programs.

Ms. Voris joined WPHP in February 2022 as a Clinical Coordinator on the Substance Use Disorder Team. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and cultural studies from The Evergreen State College and her master’s degree in psychology from Boston University. Ms. Voris is a Substance Use Disorder Professional and Mental Health Professional who has been working in the behavioral health field for more than 20 years. Previous positions include providing substance use disorder and co-occurring condition counseling in residential and outpatient settings as well as serving as program coordinator and clinical services director during her career. Ms. Voris is trained in a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and was a trainer and group leader for the evidence-based intervention Seeking Safety for individuals with post traumatic stress disorder and substance use disorders.

Averie joined the WPHP team in February 2022 as a Clinical Coordinator on the Medical and Psychiatric Team. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Averie’s scope of practice is in career counseling and disability advocacy. Prior to WPHP, Averie was working as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for Washington state’s Department of Social and Human Services. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in recreational therapy from Clemson University. She completed her master’s degree in clinical rehabilitation counseling at Georgia State University.

Dr. Heather O’Brien attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison for undergraduate studies and earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology and her doctorate in clinical psychology from Adler University in Chicago, Ili. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Louis Stokes Cleveland Veteran Affairs Medical Center which included rotations on Inpatient Psychiatry, PTSD Clinical Teams, and the Women’s Addiction Treatment Program. Most of her work since becoming a licensed clinical psychologist has been within the Department of Defense healthcare system, treating servicemembers and veterans with co-occurring disorders. As a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force, she served as a psychologist and director of a mental health clinic while revitalizing clinical programs such as integrated behavioral health in primary care and disaster mental health. O’Brien also functioned as a clinical supervisor and addictions specialist within the United States Navy’s largest residential substance use treatment program, and facilitated multiple process improvement projects related to suicide prevention, treatment, and risk management. After relocating to Seattle and serving as an integrated behavioral health provider alongside obstetrician-gynecologists and certified nurse midwives, she began attending to a growing desire to support and advocate for health-care professionals. O’Brien joined WPHP in 2023 as a clinical coordinator. She maintains a private practice in Fremont and is a professional member of Washington Psychological Association’s Legislative Advocacy Committee, the American Psychological Association, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s Mental Health Professional Group, and the Federation of Physician Health Programs.

Jessica joined WPHP in May 2023 in the role of Clinical Coordinator. She completed her master’s degree in social work at Seattle University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and a Substance Use Disorder Professional. Jessica joins WPHP with previous experience working with both substance use and mental health in a range of treatment settings and is a certified trauma professional. She has experience and training in somatic-based interventions and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Immediately prior to joining WPHP, Jessica was in a group private practice as a therapist.

Johnny joined WPHP in July 2024 in the role of Clinical Coordinator. He completed his bachelor’s degree in counseling psychology at Alaska Pacific University and is a Substance Use Disorder Professional. Johnny joins WPHP with five years of experience providing substance use disorder counseling and case management in an outpatient treatment setting. Prior to joining WPHP, Johnny spent the previous five years in a behavioral health role at a tribal health organization in rural Alaska.

Gia joined WPHP in April 2019. Originally from New York, she moved to the Greater Seattle Area at a young age and completed schooling here. She received a bachelor’s degree in communications and medical anthropology from the University of Washington. She is responsible for the administration of the toxicology testing program, participant adherence and enrollments, and supporting WPHP’s quality program. In addition, she works closely with our partners at RecoveryTrek and Cordant Health Solutions laboratories. Originally hired as an administrative assistant, over the years, she has furthered her interests in participant adherence, quality improvement, and supporting the clinical team.

Samantha joined WPHP in May 2023 as a Health Informatics Coordinator. She grew up in the Bay Area before moving to Seattle in 2017. She received a bachelor’s degree in informatics and a master’s degree in health informatics and health information management from the University of Washington. At WPHP, Samantha performs the administrative tasks necessary for the Quality Assurance and Clinical teams’ processes to run smoothly and accurately.

Robin joined WPHP in March 2023 as the Quality Assurance Assistant. Robin has since transitioned to the Clinical Liaison role, responsible for managing administrative duties for the clinical team. She supports participant enrollment and reviewing adherence for workplace and health liaisons. Robin received her bachelor’s degree at Wellesley College and has 15 years’ experience in healthcare.

Aalysia joined WPHP in August 2024. She received her bachelor’s degree in public health from Eastern Washington University. Aalysia’s academic journey was complemented by hands-on experience as a legal assistant throughout her college years. Prior to that, she was an administrative assistant working closely with an accountant. These diverse experiences provided a strong foundation in both public health and administrative functions, and Aalysia brings these to her role as Quality Assurance Assistant where she supports the Quality Assurance team’s operations.
