We are delighted to congratulate Nadine Rosete, Administrative Director, on her 10-year anniversary at the Washington Physicians Health Program (WPHP)! Over the past decade, Mrs. Rosete has served the WPHP team and Washington’s medical community in a variety of roles with an innovative mindset, an eye for detail, and a vision for long-term success. Today, she manages daily operations, ongoing program development and improvement, and communication and outreach strategies.
Mrs. Rosete joined WPHP in July 2016 as the Administrative Assistant with prior background in nonprofit administration. In this role, she provided support on tasks related to office management and assisted the clinical team with front desk operations, preparing paperwork, and organizing program participant charts.
Becoming the Office Coordinator in July 2017, Mrs. Rosete assumed the lead on vendor management, building management, and office improvements. She also stepped up to manage WPHP’s Annual Reunion – a weekend-long event for WPHP program participants, alumni, staff, board members, and their loved ones to come together and find community through shared experience. To this day, she is responsible for arranging planning meetings with the leadership team, coordinating guest speakers, organizing the event schedule, managing registration and lodging, and serving as the onsite coordinator. The Annual Reunion has taken place at multiple venues under her management.
Mrs. Rosete’s role continued to evolve as she served as the Office Administrator and Executive Assistant to Dr. Chris Bundy, WPHP Executive Medical Director, from July 2018 to February 2022. During this time, she managed Dr. Bundy’s outreach speaking engagements and supported WPHP’s Board of Directors by arranging logistics and taking minutes at board and committee meetings.
Simultaneously, she led several major system improvement projects including upgrading the office to a VoIP phone system, transitioning from physical to electronic faxing, storing paper files electronically, introducing a new application to simplify scheduling meetings with program participants and stakeholders, and overseeing an office build-out and the transition to the new office space. Her ongoing improvement projects allow the clinical and quality assurance teams to better support our program participants.
In March 2022, Mrs. Rosete became the Administrative Manager and joined WPHP’s leadership team. She assumed her current role as Administrative Director the following year. Around this time, the organization realized the need for more robust education and outreach efforts to ensure medical professionals and healthcare organizations across Washington state were aware of WPHP’s services and resources. This resulted in the development of WPHP’s communications team, which Mrs. Rosete has managed and overseen since its inception in 2023.
Throughout her career at WPHP, Mrs. Rosete has worked across teams to ensure the smoothest day-to-day operations possible. She supported the clinical and quality assurance teams during a toxicology testing pilot program and the transition to an electronic medical record system. Mrs. Rosete also leads the onboarding process for all new team members. Most recently, she guided the WPHP team through the transition to a fully remote work model.
Beyond WPHP, she serves as a member of the Federation of State Physician Health Programs (FSPHP) Project Planning Committee, which plans and oversees the FSPHP Annual Education Conference and Membership Meeting.
The WPHP team is immensely grateful for Mrs. Rosete’s leadership, expertise, and continuous dedication to our staff and the medical professionals we serve. Her behind-the-scenes work over the past decade has undeniably shaped the organization into what it is today. Thank you, Mrs. Rosete!
